Agriculture as an Investment Opportunity

Agriculture presents significant investment opportunities and is attracting increasing interest from investors globally, driven by global development forecasts and the constant reduction of available farmland. The Bottom Line

Given the global challenge of feeding a growing population with less land as well as significant long-term increases of land value, investing in agriculture can be a strategic move and a valuable hedge against inflation. ABG offers a comprehensive range of services to guide investors through the entire agricultural investment cycle. We work individually with each client to make farming more investor-friendly, developing strategies and investment vehicles tailored to the specific needs of both private and institutional investors.

Example of the Implemented Agricultural Investment Fund.

We provided comprehensive services to a major German institutional investor, encompassing the design, implementation, and management of their long-term agricultural investment, amounting to a total volume of €45.5 million. In addition to managing the resulting portfolio, we developed both the general outline and the detailed design of our fund’s long-term investment strategy in agriculture. An external investment vehicle was established to facilitate and streamline these investments.

Since 2011, ABG has successfully executed 26 agricultural investment projects across two continents and five different countries. Each project underscored our dedication to leveraging agricultural potential, promoting sustainable practices, and contributing to the economic growth of the regions involved.
